Carolyn Wares had a very notable season for the Tigers as she was the only member named to the AUS first team all-star list and was awarded the team MVP. Teammates Jennifer Clark and Kathie Sanderson were both named to the AUS second team all-star list during this season.
This was Dr. Carolyn Savoy’s 17th season as head coach of the Tigers women’s basketball team. Savoy retired after the 2008-09 season with a record of 389 wins and 141 loses over a span of 530 games.
The 2016-17 Tigers women’s basketball team is back in action after the holidays on January 10th against the Acadian Axewomen. The game begins at 6 pm at the Dalplex.
