(HALIFAX, N.S.) - The UQaM Citadins defeated the Saint Mary's Huskies 63-60 Sunday morning at 10 am in their final game at the Lawton's Centennial Women's Basketball Tournament. Both teams finished with a 2-1 record in this year's tournament held at the Dalplex.

This university women's basketball game provided some exciting action for the fans in attendance Sunday morning. The game came down to the wire as the Huskies were down 3 points with a few seconds left.

The Huskies called a time out with one second left in the game but unfortunately couldn't find a basket. The Citadins defense held them off and concluded an exhilarating game with a final score of 63-60.

The all-stars for the weekend were #21 Shanieka Wood for the Saint Mary's Huskies and for the Citadins #21 Jessica Lubin and #12 Queteline Celestin.
