Tigers swim coach Lance Cansdale was elected to the Executive Board of the Canadian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association on the opening day of the 2017 Canadian World Swimming Trials.  Cansdale will hold a two-year appointment as Director at Large on the nine person executive. “This is an exciting opportunity to contribute at the highest level to the continued advancement and growth of my profession,” explains Cansdale.

The Canadian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association (CSCTA) is the professional organization for swim coaches across Canada. During the 2015-2016 season, the CSCTA had over 2800 registered coaches from coast to coast. The CSCTA advocates on behalf of swim coaches at all levels and with different organizations. The CSCTA also is seated on various Swimming Canada Committees and currently hold a position on the Board of Directors for the World Swim Coaches Association.
