Tigers improve to 6-0 with commanding win over Sea-Hawks

The Tigers remain undefeated with a commanding 3-0 victory over the Memorial Sea-Hawks tonight at the Dalplex. Alex Dempsey had 13 kills in the win for the Tigers, while Liam power added nine kills in the loss for the Sea-Hawks.

The Tigers jumped out to an early 10-4 lead in the first set, but the Sea-Hawks trimmed the lead to three but the Tigers still held a 16-13 lead. They'd hold on for the 25-15 win to go up 1-0. In the second set, Liam Power's kill off a pass from Jordan Smith gave the Sea-Hawks an 11-8 lead. The Tigers would fight back to tie the set at 14, and they fought their way to a 25-17 win to put themselves on the verge of victory.

Logan Baillie opened the third set with an ace and the Tigers jumped out to a 6-2 lead. They'd hold on for the rest of the set and they won the third and final set 25-20 as their record improved to 6-0, while the Sea-Hawks remain winless on the season with an 0-6 record.

Alex Dempsey now ranks third in the AUS with 58 kills on the season after his stellar effort.

Both teams will be back on the court when they face each other again tomorrow afternoon at the Dalplex. Things get underway at 1:00pm.
