Dalhousie Tigers men's soccer head coach Alan Jazic is pleased to announce the commitment of Grady Wilcox for the 2026-27 season.
A defender, Wilcox plays for Inter Halifax and was a member of Team Nova Scotia at the 2025 Canada Summer Games in St. John's, Newfoundland, helping his team to a fourth-place finish. Prior to his time at Inter Halifax, he was a member of the BMO Whitecaps Academy and Halifax City Soccer Club. In 2024 he was named the Citadel High School soccer team's rookie of the year.
"I feel very honoured and excited to be a part of this team and this school," says Wilcox. "I look forward to developing as a player and student to do the best I can on and off the pitch."
A member of the Principal's List at Citadel High School, Wilcox will be studying commerce.
"I'm really excited to be welcoming Grady to our Tigers family," says Jazic. "He's a technical player with an exceptionally high soccer IQ, and I believe he has the most potential & highest ceiling of any player coming out of Nova Scotia. Grady is positionally sound & rarely beaten in 1v1 defending scenarios. He rarely turns the ball over and consistently connects a high percentage of his passes out of the back. He's a true two-way player who plays with calmness and composure under pressure. As an integral part of the Nova Scotia Canada Games Men's Soccer Team, he showed exactly why we're so excited to welcome him to the Tiger family. I'm really looking forward to working with him over the next 4–5 years."
The Tigers won their first AUS title in 17 years this October, defeating Cape Breton 3-2 in the final.
