Parker-Christmas joins Tigers for 2022-23

Parker-Christmas joins Tigers for 2022-23

Dalhousie Tigers men’s soccer head coach Alan Jazic is pleased to announce the commitment of Mykeo Parker-Christmas for the 2022-23 season.

A 6’0 striker, Parker-Christmas helped Halifax City Soccer Club’s U17 team to a provincial championship title in 2019. He went on to the top goal scorer at the national tournament that fall, repeating his top scorer performance at the U15 tournament two years prior. The Halifax native was also a member of Citadel High School’s provincial championship boys team in 2019.

Parker-Christmas will be returning to his hometown after studying and playing at the University of Memphis this past year.

“I am very excited to start my new chapter at Dalhousie,” says Parker-Christmas. “I am eager to help the Tigers win not only an AUS championship, but a national one as well.”

Parker-Christmas will be in the commerce program at Dalhousie.

“I’m excited to be welcoming Mykeo to the Tigers family,” says Jazic. “Mykeo is blessed with explosive speed. His movement off the ball and his ability to run in behind defenders is exactly what our program needs. He has a natural tendency to play forward and regularly looks to score or set up his teammates.”

The Tigers return to Wickwire Field on September 10, when they host Mount Allison in their home opener.
