Flashback Friday (Mar. 25)

This week we are flashing back to our 2008 AUS Champion men’s soccer team! The Tigers finished their regular season in third place in the AUS with a record of 7-4-2, losing only 1 game at home all season.  They would go on to win the AUS Championships which was hosted by Mount Allison University. Ben Ur won the AUS Championship MVP.

Ross Hagen and Kerry Weymann were named AUS First team all-stars for their solid play during the AUS season. Ben Ur was named an AUS second team all-star. Weymann was also named AUS Rookie of the Year and Ross Hagen was named a second team CIS All-Canadian. Head Coach Pat Nearing was named AUS Coach of the Year that season. He received the same honour from the CIS as well.
