Dalhousie defeats Memorial 2-0 for second straight day

(St. John's, N.L.) - The visiting Dalhousie Tigers claimed their second straight 2-0 victory over the Memorial Sea-Hawks at King George the Vth Park on Sunday.

Nathan Rogers opened up the scoring in the 39th minute with his fourth goal of the season. The goal was set up by Bezick Evaire.

Tyler Lewars netted an insurance goal for the Tigers in the final minute of the first half. The goal was also Lewars fourth of the season, keeping pace with Rogers to lead the team.

Rogers was the Subway Player of the Game for Dalhousie while Memorial keeper Michael Bartellas was the player of the game for the Sea-Hawks.

Memorial fell to 1-9-1 on the season while Dalhousie improved to 6-3-2.

The Sea-Hawks will finish their season next weekend when they travel to play Cape Breton and StFX.
