(HALIFAX, N.S.) - The final game of the Subway AUS men's soccer championship is now set after the second-seeded and host Saint Mary's Huskies defeated the third-seeded Dalhousie Tigers 4-1 Saturday at Huskies Stadium.

The goal scoring started early, with SMU striker Robert Rawlings putting away Dalhousie keeper Jason Ross's rebound in the eighth minute. However, Jack Schembri put the Tigers back in the game with a goal in the 19th minute from the foot of fellow midfielder Sangmuk Choi.

Less than a minute after midfielder Schembri tied it up for the Tigers, William Kennedy, who would eventually be named Subway Player of the Game, found the back of the net for the Huskies and restored their one-goal lead. The goal would wind up being the game-winner.

Rodrigo de Carvalho netted his third of the year in the 43rd minute to put the Huskies up by two entering the half.

Kennedy continued the scoring trend for the Huskies at the beginning of the second, putting away a goal off a free kick.

Ross did his best to keep his team in the game, making several critical saves at key moments, however his efforts were not enough and the Tigers walked away empty handed.

Huskies keeper Adam Miller recorded nine saves for his squad. Today's game marked the Huskies' third win over the Tigers this season.

With the win, Saint Mary's advances to take on the top-seeded UNB Varsity Reds in the final of the 2013 Subway AUS men's soccer championship Sunday at 2 p.m.

The win also gives the Huskies a berth in the CIS men's soccer championship beginning Nov. 7 at UNB.
