This week we are flashing back to 1999 to check out the AUS champion men’s soccer team! Nador Awanen was the only Tiger named to the AUS first team all-star list this season. His teammate, Jeff Hibberts, was awarded the team MVP as well as the AUS MVP award. Hibberts is one of only three Tigers in men’s soccer history who has been awarded the AUS MVP.

This was head coach Pat Nearing’s first year with the men’s soccer team. Nearing is currently the head coach of the Tigers and has an overall winning percentage of 50%.

The 2016-17 Tigers team finished their season with an overall record of 5-0-7 and the new squad will take the field in the fall of 2017.
