The Dalhousie Tigers (9-5) were able to complete the sweep over the Memorial Sea-Hawks (2-13) in a tightly contested battle by a score of 3-1 (17-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-19).

The Sea-Hawks captured an electric win in the first set, putting early pressure on the Tigers, who hadn't dropped a set in this series until now. Despite the start, the Tigers were able to respond, winning the following 3 sets to take the match, including a tight third set that saw the Tigers scrape out a 25-22 advantage, and conclude the match with a narrow 25-19 closing set.

On the Sea-Hawks side, Melissa Hatfield tied for a game-high 19 kills in a tremendous effort that also included 9 digs on the defensive end. Sarah Trowbridge and Lydia Grawer were both also effective on the attack, both stood out with 11 kills each, while Trowbridge provided an incredible effort on the defensive end with 19 digs. Sea-Hawks setter Jenna Poole was great throughout the course of the game, consistently delivering perfect balls to her attacking teammates, and by a result of that she concluded the match with a game-high 39 assists.

Once again, Julie Moore was the catalyst for the Tigers for this afternoon's game, tying for a game-high of 19 kills, while also contributing significantly on defence with 13 digs. Sarah Dawe also aided in the Tigers attack, contributing seven kills and 10 digs in another impressive all-around effort. Tigers setter Brett Boldon provided more of the same for her team, constantly setting her teammates up for success, resulting in an impressive 31 assists.

This match wrapped up the regular season for both teams, the Sea-Hawks and Tigers will be taking part in the quarter-final matchups starting Thursday, March 10th, between the team's positioned from 3rd to 6th place in the AUS.
