On Friday, October 16th, the Dalhousie women's volleyball team travelled to the University of Ottawa to play the Ottawa Gee-Gees in pre-season action. The final score was a 3-1 win for the Tigers over the Gee-Gees.
The first set was a close 25-20 for Dalhousie, and Ottawa showed even stronger in the second set with a score of 25-23. However, when it came to the last set, the Tigers finished with a 25-7 win over the Gee-Gees which secured their win for the game.
On Saturday, October 17th, the Dalhousie Tigers played at Ottawa University again against the Queen's Gaels. With 3 close sets, the Tigers managed to come out with a 3-0 win over the Gaels.
In the first set, the Tigers won by five points at a score of 25-20. They came back even stronger in the second set which they finished safely at 25-15. When the third set came around, the Gaels put the Tigers to the test and forced the score to 30-28, but Dalhousie still managed to come out with the win for the set and the game.
