Swimmers off to a great start

The men's and women's swim teams are off to a great start at the 2013-14 Subway AUS Swim Championships at Memorial University.

Both teams combined for 12 top ten finishes including seven first place finishes and lead the event with a combined score of 547 points, 233 ahead of second place Acadia.

Leading the way with first place finishes were Molly Wedge (200m freestyle), Joe Ur (50 backstroke), Kieshia Mills (100m breastroke), David Sharpe (100m butterfly), Rachel Shin (400m IM), and both the men's and women's 400m freestyle relay teams.

Day two starts tomorrow with heats at 10am and finals at 6pm.
