Tigers add Kuehne for the 2024/25 season!

Dalhousie Tigers women’s soccer head coach Cindy Tye is pleased to announce the commitment of Niah Kuehne for the 2024-25 season.

A winger, Kuehne will be playing the upcoming League1 BC season with the TSS Rovers. Previously played for the Venus Premier team of the Metro Premier Women’s Soccer League and Coastal Football Club in the British Columbia Soccer Premier League. The Surrey, British Columbia native was a member of the Coastal FC team that won the BC Soccer provincial title in 2019 and were league champions in 2021.

“I am looking forward to being a part of the Tigers,” says Kuehne. I am excited to play, learn, develop and make a difference out on the pitch.”

Kuehne will be studying criminology at Dalhousie.

“An attacker who uses her physicality and pace to create scoring opportunities, Niah will help to strengthen our attacking core,” says Tye. “She has a strong work ethic and has sought out environments that challenge her to be better. A top student, we are excited to welcome Niah to the Tigers!”

The Tigers finished the 2023 season with a 5-4 record before being knocked out of the AUS playoffs in the quarterfinals on penalty kicks.
