Dalhousie ties UNB 0-0 in regular season play

On Saturday, September 19, Dalhousie tied UNB at an away game in regular season action at the Fredericton BMO Field.

In the first half there were some chances with a shot by UNB's Kayla Painter (Fredericton, NB) in the 14th minute and another from Dalhousie's Victoria Parkinson (Halifx, NS) in the 34th minute. However, the first half ended with zero goals for either team, only a few close chances from both sides.

In the second half of the game, UNB's Lucy Parkin (Sheffield, UK) had two shots on net in the 64th minute and again in the 72nd. Both shots were saved by Dalhousie's goalie, Katie Morgan (Calgary, AB). Dalhousie had a close shot by Doriana Homerski in the 83rd minute that was saved by goalie Sami-Jo Bell (East Dover, NS ) of UNB.

The game came to an end with a tie for Dalhousie and UNB at a final score of 0-0. Dalhousie played UdeM on September 20th in Moncton with a 4-0 win and UNB played St Mary's in Fredericton with a 4-0 win as well.
