The StFX X-Women fell short of their goal of a berth in the AUS championship today as they played to a scoreless draw against the Dalhousie Tigers today at Wickwire Field.

The Tigers, meanwhile, have gone undefeated thus far in October and look to ride this unbeaten streak into the AUS championship next weekend where they'll look to win their third championship in four years on, but this time on home turf. They finish their season tomorrow with a home game against the Memorial Sea-Hawks.

On a cold fall day, both teams played hard but struggled to put together any formidable threats offensively. The Tigers backline looked exceptionally strong as Subway player of the game Kristy McGregor-Bales and the rest of the defense kept the ball away from the net and made keeper Katie Morgan's day easy.

Subway player of the game Brittany Parks led the X-Women with one shot on net.
