Tigers hold off Aigles Bleus in 2-1 victory

(Halifax, NS) - The Dalhousie Tigers defeated Moncton Aigles Bleus 2-1 on Wednesday night at the Halifax Forum.

13:30 into the first period, Natasha Falk (Brandon, MB), the player of the game, scored on a one-timer in the slot. Falk was assisted by Isabella Weist (Torbay, NL) and Katie Cameron (Riverview, NB). 

The Tigers would lead 1-0 in the second period, where they scored early in the period again. Emma Penner (Niagara on the Lake, ON) found the back of the net on a rebound. 

In the third period, Moncton got on the board. Erica Plourde (Pigeon Hill, NB) scored on the powerplay. Elizabeth Galipeau (Bedford, QC) and Valérie 

Valérie Haché (Shippagan, NB) assisted the goal.

Grace Beer (Oakville, ON) was outstanding for the Tigers, making 26 saves. 

Audrey Berthiaume (St-Bruno, QC) made 15 saves in the loss. 

This was the last game of the semester for both teams. Dal currently sits in sixth place, while Moncton is in fourth.
