Subway player of the game Erica Plourde's goal with less than five minutes to play in the third broke a 2-2 tie to give the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues a 3-2 win over the Dalhousie University Tigers in an Atlantic University Sport women's hockey game Saturday in front of 130 people at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena on the Moncton campus.

Plourde picked up a wrist shot in front of the net that went over the goalkeeper's glove. Janie Poitras (Plourde, Isadora Quirion; Shani Rossignol, Pascale Lebeau), twice, had given a 2-0 lead to the Aigles Bleues in the first period. The visitors then took control with 13 shots in the middle period and Mackenzie Drake's goal. Olivia Eustace, on the power play, leveled the odds at 2-2 at 4:36 of the third.

Audrey Berthiaume saw 26 pucks (7-13-6) in front of the Aigles Bleues net for the victory against 18 (5-9-4) for Maggie Baxter in a losing cause. Both teams scored once out of six power plays.

The Aigles Bleues visit the University of New Brunswick Reds on Friday in Fredericton before hosting the St. Thomas University Tommies on Saturday.
