2020-21 Women's Hockey Season

2020-21 Women's Hockey Season

From the Coach - Troy Ryan

In August we started talking about gap. Using this time to close the gap on our opponents. From day one we have approached this year as an opportunity and have appreciated each day we have been able to be together as a program. Our student-athletes have been committed to improving academically, athletically, and physically and have taken great strides in closing that gap. The investment everyone made this year will benefit the program for years to come. Winning is not an end result, but rather a step-by-step process. This year we believe we have taken a step in the right direction.

Greatest Gains - For unwavering commitment to training with a laser focus on making positive gains.

Ariana Pinchuk

Ariana came back this year determined to develop both on the ice and in the gym and has consistently made gains through her commitment to getting better both individually and as a team. She is part of our leadership group and has led by example all season.

Tiger of the Year - For unwavering commitment to training and devotion to the growth of the team.

Isabella Weist

The quote: “Good things happen to good people” holds true with our Tiger of the Year. Day in and day out, Izzy shows what it looks like to be a great teammate. Her team-first mentality, energy, work ethic,  and positive approach to her teammates (and the program) is contagious. She is a passionate student-athlete that does things the right way. She is a great leader because she exemplifies everything we would want in a Tiger.
