Mount Allison hosted the Dalhousie Tigers on January 25th for their annual #BellLetsTalk game to raise awareness, fight stigma and start discussions on mental health.

In the first period, the Mountie took the lead.  Julia Aurora scored the only goal of the period with five minutes left.  Aurora was assisted by Olivia Henley.  Mount Allison also lead the period in shots 12-10.

Aurora and Henley showed what a dynamic duo they are by scoring MtA's second goal.  Aurura scored five minutes into the period and was assisted by Henley again.  Dalhousie responded to that goal with one of their own, Meghan Anton scored unassisted two minutes after the Mounties. With less than 2 minutes left in the second, Emma Schurman scored with an assist from Abby Beale. The Mounties finished the second period ahead 3 to 1 over the Dalhousie tigers.

The third period was a tough fought battle till the very end.  Dalhousie player Meghan Anton scored again with seven minutes left. Mount Allison returned that goal by scoring again. Lauren Shaw scored unassisted.

The Mount Allison Mountie won their fourth game of the season 4-2. They play again January 26th at 2PM. The Tigers play host to Moncton Sunday afternoon in Halifax at 12:30pm
