The third and deciding game will be played Sunday evening at 7p.m. in Halifax.

Brittany Poitras, Subway player of the game, scored the other goal for the Aigles that took a 2-0 lead in the first without giving it up. Moncton dominated 14-on shots on goal in the first and 30-2in the game. Poitras and Marie-Pier Corriveau added two assists each. Tyra Death was the lone scorer for the visitors. Fabiana Petricca took the loss. The Tigers won the first game, 7-2.

"The game was very physical," said Moncton coach Denis Ross. "Our veterans did the job tonight and contributed well. The physical game was worst on Tuesday evening, but we managed it well and played our game. We played a full three periods and within our system. We had space to score tonight. Sunday, each team will want to win. It will be physical again and robust on the ice. We will have to adapt and stay out of the penalty box."

"The team was frustrated after the Tuesday loss, so came out strong and we demonstrated our character," added Brittany Poitras. "We never let go and we did not give them a chance to get back in the game. We will need to remain focused on our game, on Sunday. Our system of play will be important."

The Tigers host the Aigles Bleues Sunday night in Halifax at 7:00pm in the third and final game of the quarter-final series.
