The women's hockey team hosted Mount Allison University tonight at Alumni Arena. During the first period, the Tigers started off slow, suffering from some poor stickhandling. Ten minutes into the game, the team took the lead when Tiger Sarah Robichaud got a shot past an unsuspecting Kate O'Brien after Robichaud fell down in front of the net.

Things continued to look promising for the Tigers early in the second period, when Megan O'Neill added another goal for Dal. With 14 minutes left in the second, the Mounties got their first shot past Tiger Mati Barrett on a power play and added another goal before the period was over.

The Mounties continued to outshoot the Tigers in the last period and scored their third goal of the night with five minutes left on the clock. MTA came away with the win, 3-2.

The Tigers will play Saint Mary's on October 30th at 7pm.
