(Halifax, NS) - The University of Prince Edward Island Panthers defeated the Dalhousie Tigers 91-66 on Sunday at Dalplex.

Sydney Guker-Wickie (Kitchener, ON) got Dal on the board from beautiful ball movement from the Tigers, giving her a layup.

Grace Lancaster (Fall River, NS)  scored an and-one with 5:02 left of the first quarter to give the Panthers an 8-6 lead.

Lancaster would then hit a 3-pointer, which the Tigers responded to immediately off an Eva Widmeyer (Dartmouth, NS) 3-pointer, tying the game 12-12.

The Panthers led 23-14 after the first quarter.

The game's leading scorer, Kaitlyn Ferrier (Calgary, AB), hit a mid-range jumper with 19 seconds left of the second quarter. Ferrier finished with 34 points and seven rebounds.

The Panthers took a 43-37 lead into the half.

In the third quarter, Guker-Wickie fed a dime to Katie Wuotila (Calgary, AB) on the fastbreak with 5:54 left of the quarter.

With 4:52 left of the quarter, Lauren Rainford (Toronto, ON) hit the Tigers with a post move for a bucket. This gave the Panthers a 10-point lead.
