From the Coach - Rich Lehman
In September, our women's track and field team committed to using this year to outwork and out prepare our competition. In a series of mini intrasquad meets in March we proved that we had done just that with athletes from every event group setting personal bests. With the 2022 U SPORTS Championships taking place in our conference, we feel confident that we have closed the gap on the top teams in the country and are ready to compete with anyone.

Chelsea MacIsaac Chelsea's drive to improve was unwavering this year. Training with a very small group of throwers completely isolated from the rest of the team, she has solidified herself as the best thrower in the conference heading into next year. Her season ended with a personal best in the weight throw. |
Tiger of the Year - For unwavering commitment to training and devotion to the growth of the team. |

Kayli Friesen Kayli stepped into a leadership role this season with our very young jumps group. In a year where our coaching and facility resources were limited due to travel guidelines and health concerns, she did a great job of keeping the jumpers focused on their training. She also played a huge role in creating a team atmosphere for that group. No other group was as affected by the changes this year as the jumpers, but she remained upbeat and positive all year and it was obvious that this attitude transferred to the rest of the group. |
