On the first day of the Subway AUS Track and Field Championships, Maya Reynolds, Mike Van Der Poel, Mattthew Coolen, Jordan Bruce and the 4x800m women's relay team all set new AUS records and earned gold medals.

Action resumes on Saturday with 240 athletes from 10 of the 11 universities members of AUS. Competitions begin at 9:15 a.m. and finish around 2:30 p.m. with relays.
