Tigers have successful weekend at McGill Team Challenge

(MONTREAL, QC) - The Dalhousie Tigers competed at the McGill Team challenge January 27-28 at McGill University. The men finished in third and the women finished in fourth overall. The University of Guelph won both the men's and women's overall titles.

Several Tigers ran and jumped to podium finishes over the two-day event.

The women finished the weekend with three podium finishes. Colleen Wilson finished second in the 3000m final, while Macayla Cullen and Kate MacLatchie placed second and third in the high jump final. The men finished the McGill Team Challenge with five podium finishes. led by fifth year jumper Jordan Bruce who finished first in long jump and second in the triple jump added 18 points to the Tigers final score of 65. Other podium finishes for the men came from  the relay team who placed second in the 4x400, Will Russell who placed second in the 1000m, and Stephen Belyea who finished third in long jump.
