On Saturday, October 31st and Sunday, November 1st, the Dalhousie Swim team competed in the Jack Scholz swim meet at Acadia University Swim Club. Both the women and men's teams finished in first place, women with 270.5 points and men with 340.
Dalhousie won 20 of 32 individual races and won all four team events over the course of the weekend. This is the swim team's second event of the season.
The Tigers had 10 swimmers that made it to the top of the podium at the invitational which is a great accomplishment for Dalhousie to have in their AUS season.
Phoebe Lenderyou (Newcastle, England) and Kyle Watson (Cole Harbour, NS) each had four individual wins to their names by the end of the swim meet. Tony Liew (Peterborough, ON) and Claire Yurkovich (Edmonton, AB) followed close behind with 3 individual wins each.
Dalhousie finished with a combined team score of 610.5, second place went to UNB with a final score of 287.5. The women's team finished in first with 270.5 points and the men's team finished first with 340 points for the team.
The Tigers will be hosting the Dalhousie Invitational at the Dalplex on Saturday, November 21st and Sunday, November 22nd.
