Tigers add Enstrom for 2024-25

Dalhousie Tigers men’s volleyball head coach Dan Ota is pleased to announce the commitment of Luke Enstrom for the 2024-25 season.

Hailing from Lloydminster, Alberta, Enstrom plays for Holy Rosary High School and the Lloydminster Rustlers Volleyball Club. The middle and his Holy Rosary High School teammates are two-time defending Alberta School Athletic Association Northeast Zone 3A champions.

A two-time member of Team Saskatchewan, Enstrom most recently represented his province at Volleyball Canada’s Canada Cup in Niagara, Ontario in 2023.

“I feel very honoured for the opportunity to play as a Dalhousie Tiger,” says Enstrom. “It has been a dream of mine to become a U SPORTS athlete and I am looking forward to learning from and training under coach Ota at the higher level of volleyball. He speaks highly about his team members just as his team members speak highly of him. I am excited to join them on the court and continue to improve my skills with the Tigers.”

A multi-year member of the honour roll with distinction at Holy Rosery High School, Enstrom will be studying computer science at Dalhousie.

“Luke possesses the size and athleticism to be an effective middle in the RSEQ league,” says Ota. “He has barely started to develop toward his potential, so I think that there is tremendous upside to his game. Luke brings an energy to the court that will be a welcome addition to our group.”
