This week’s flashback Friday goes to the 95-96 men’s volleyball team! Scott Brake, Jamie Mallon, Terry Martin and Jason Trepanier were all named to the AUS first team all-star list. The team went on to seal a conference championship this year – this was the Tigers tenth consecutive conference championship title. After this season, The Tigers would go on to capture 17 more titles, the most recent being the 2014-15 season.
Head coach Al Scott was honored with the AUS coach of the year award during the 95-95 season. This was Al Scott’s 12th time winning the award, and he would go on to win two more before his retirement.
Jamie Mallon received both the team MVP and the AUS student-athlete and community service award at the end of the season.
