Swim teams both claim top spot at the Jack Scholz Invitational

The Dalhousie men’s and women’s swim teams both had strong performances over the weekend at the Jack Scholz Invitational hosted by Acadia University. The women won their first event of the season in impressive fashion beating second place Mount Allison by more than a hundred points. The men also claimed top spot over the two day event with 305 points, Acadia and Mount Allison rounded out the top three with 255 and 131 points, respectively.

"It was a great first meet for such a young squad, our first year swimmers really stepped up and complemented the team’s veterans," said Head Coach Lance Cansdale. "It ended up being a great indicator of where we are right now.”
