WOLFVILLE – Toni Adeoye scored twice as the Acadia Axemen (2-3-3) topped the Dalhousie Tigers (0-5-2) 3-1 on Friday night at Raymond Field.

For the Axemen, what could be guessed as one of the fastest goals in AUS history, was scored by Liam Kelly just 38 seconds into the match to put Acadia up 1-0.

That goal stood as the only tally until the 66th minute when Adeoye scored his first of the match and eventual game-winning goal.

Jack Ellis got one back for the Tigers in the 72nd minute, but was quickly answered in the 73rd minute by Adeoye with his insurance marker.

Dylan Legere made one save in the victory, while Emmett Workman made three saves in the Tigers loss.

Acadia is now off until October 13 when they host Saint Mary's, while the Tigers are back in action on Sunday when they host UNB in Halifax.
