Tigers fall to Moncton, 3-0

The Universite de Moncton Aigles Bleus shutout the Dalhousie Tigers 3-0 on Sunday afternoon in New Brunswick.

Lionel Feval opened the scoring in the 12th minute when he converted a kick from the spot. Seven minutes later, Pascal Sonier doubled Moncton's lead.

In the second half Moncton extended their lead when Jonathan Kisse made a quick run towards the Tigers net and a slick play to beat thwart the defender and Tigers goalkeeper Aiden Rushenas (Toronto, ON).

The Tigers tried to find a spark in their attack late in the game, but were not able to beat Moncton's goalkeeper, Christian Masimengo who recorded his second shutout of the weekend.

A heated afair, the game saw the referee issue nine yellow cards, six of them going to Tigers players. 

Both teams remain in a playoff spot heading into the final games of the season, with the Tigers one point ahead of Moncton in fifth place. 

The Aigles Bleus travel to Wolfville on Friday while the Tigers head to Antigonish to play STFX. Both games kickoff at 7:15pm.
