We are pleased to announce that the Dalhousie men’s hockey and women’s volleyball teams, along with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, will be hosting the second annual Adrian Facca Fights Cancer Golf Tournament.
Adrian Facca was an outstanding member of the Tigers men’s hockey team for five years. During his time with the Tigers, he was part of the lineup that claimed the 1978 AUAA championship title. After a long battle with cancer he passed away in 2011.
In honour of our late friend, we would like to invite you to participate in this year’s event Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 8am to 5pm. The tournament will be held at the Chester Golf Course, 222 Golf Course Road, Chester, NS. Registration begins at 8am with a shotgun start at 9am.
The event will consist of:
• 36 teams
• $200 for individual entries
• $800 for teams of four
• Prices include: Green fees, golf carts (2 per team), tee gifts, contests, BBQ dinner
If you are unable to participate in the tournament but would like to attend the dinner and auction, tickets can be purchased for $50.
