MONCTON – Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (7-7-3=17pts, 5th position) won out a goaltender's duel against the Dalhousie University Tigers (4-13-0=8pts, 7th position) coming out on top 4-1 on Friday in Atlantic University Sport men's hockey game at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena in front of over 550 spectators. 

Maxime St-Cyr (Marc-Anthony Therrien, Robbie Graham) and Édouard Michaud (Vincent Deslauriers), in the second period and Robbie Graham (St-Cyr) and Thierry Comtois (Ryan Chiasson, Olivier Desjardins), at the end of the third period in an empty net, were the Blue and Gold marksmen. Moncton put an end to a 4 game losing streakDillon Boucherin the second period, had the lone visitor's goal. Moncton was 0 for 4 on the power play and Dalhousie, 0 for 5. 

Goaltenders Étienne Montpetit, of the Aigles Bleus and Connor Hicksof the Tigers, stole the show with 45 and 49 shots respectively. Montpetit kept his team in the game with 21 saves in the first period alone and 13 in the third. Hicks did the same with 23 shots in the second and 17 in the third. 

The St. Francis Xavier University X-men (9-6-2=20pts, 3rd position) will be the Aigles Bleus opponents, Saturday (today) at 7p.m. for the last game of the first semester at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena. Dalhousie completed its first semester schedule.
