2018-19 Men's Hockey Season Preview

The Tigers are looking to pick up where they left off last season after winning seven of their last 12 games to make a playoff run. By continuing to focus on a strong defensive scheme while building on offensive output, all four lines will look to chip in offensively, scoring by committee.

Up front looking to build on last year’s numbers are Colton Heffley, Chandler Yakimowicz, Mike Evelyn, Jackson Playfair, Jonathan Cyr, Kelly Bent, Andrew Shewfelt, Alex Pawelcyzk, Reid Murphy, Josh Worthen and Connor Donaghey. They will be joined by new recruits Campbell Pickard, Dillon Boucher and Ashton Anderson. All three put up big offensive numbers in their final seasons of junior hockey.

On defence, Jesse Lussier, Zach Taylor, Aiden Jamieson, Duncan MacIntrye and Evan Scott will be joined by newcomers Connor Welsh, Kyle Yewchuk and Jake Barter

In goal, the Tigers have three first-year players sharing duties in Connor Hicks, Reilly Pickard and Kevin Resop. All three had very distinguished junior careers and should bring some strong performances this season.
