Tiger go 1-1 over the weekend

The Tigers got their first win of the season on Saturday against the St. Thomas Tommies, and they did so in thrilling fashion.

Down 4-1 early in the second period, Fabian Walsh and Mitch O'Neill both scored just 13 seconds later to cut the lead to one.  Ben MacAskill scored a power play goal six minutes into the third, and Kendall MacInnis added one of his own to make it 5-4.O'Neill added his second of the game soon after as the Tigers rattled off five straight goals to win 6-4. Walsh and Tanner Williams each had a goal and two assists to lead the Tigers.

On Friday, the Tigers faced the UPEI Panthers in Charlottetown and despite tying the game at two in the third period after being down 2-0, the Panthers added two more goals in the third period to seal the deal.

The Tigers now sit at 1-5 on the season and will face the University of Moncton on Halloween night at the Halifax Forum. Puck drop is at 7:00pm.
