Fourth-year guard Alex Carson set a new Dalhousie record for three-point field goals made in a career during regular season play. He topped the record of 155 previously held by Brian Parker on Sunday, February 15, 2020. Parker played three seasons for the Tigers from 1995-1998. Carson finished the regular season with 165 career three-point field goals made and is currently tied for 15th with Memorial's Peter Benoite (1993-98) in the AUS record book.

The Lower Sackville, NS native is also the Dalhousie record holder for three-point field golas made in a season. He made 67 during the 2017-18 regular season, which ranks him second in the AUS.

Currently in his seventh season with the Tigers, head coach Rick Plato is now the winningest coach in Dalhousie men's basketball history. He led the Tigers to a 19-1 record during the regular season, improving his regular season career win-loss record to 97-43 for a 69% winning record.
