This week’s flashback Friday goes to the to the 2002-03 conference championship winning women’s volleyball team.

In the 2002-03 season the Tigers would go onto win their first AUS conference championship in three years. Second year Jilliane Goulet lead the Tigers to a 17-1 record, the best record for the program since 1997-98. Goulet was named the AUS MVP, also being named an AUS first team all-star list as well as a CIS second team All-Canadian. Other award winners included Angela Cormier who was selected as the AUS Libero of the year, Allison Petrie was named to the AUS first team all-star list, and Jennifer Ward was named to the AUS second team list.

The undefeated 2016-17 women’s volleyball team is in action this weekend as they take on the UNB Varsity Reds on Friday and Saturday. The games begin at 6pm Friday and 2pm Saturday at the Dalplex.
